Hi all! It's been a long time since I've been on Broadjam. Wanted to check back in and say hello to everyone! I've been writing and recording new music, very slowly mind you. I have mostly been preoccupied with looking after my husband who is very unwell with a degenerative illness. So I don't get to focus on my music or other people's music as much as before. Everyone on here seems to be going well and continuing on nicely with their music as well which is good to see! I will post new songs as soon as they are ready :-)

Terese I host a breakfast program from 6am till 9am each Friday morning (Australian Time) and on every Tuesday between 9 30am till midday I do another program

Hi all, if you haven't had a listen yet, please check out my debut EP called Five Shades of Me, which includes the five songs: Bare, I'm In Love With You Now, On The Other Side, Take A Breath and A Soldier's Wife. These songs touch on my experiences and emotions dealing with my husband's post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and depression from two tours in Iraq. It is something that people should be more aware of and isn't talked about much, a younger generation of veterans and their families are suffering without knowing it, or knowing where to get help until after diganosis. I would love to see help come to the veterans and their families much much sooner, immediately after returning from a war zone. and the families need to be educated about what signs to look out for, often it is mistaken that the soldier is just going through a hard time as other events in life seem to trigger PTSD, when it is the PTSD that is the original source of the issue. Just wanted to share a bit of my story to let other know they are not alone.
I am from Australia but this is still happening world-wide.

Hey Guys and Gals, having a break today from working on the new collabs due to my youngest being ill, but in the meantime here's a work in progress in the form of a new tune called How Did We..... all comments (aside from the scratch vocal track) welcome ;o)
You've done it again Mr M! How Did We has a really strong chorus and verses that makes you feel the hurt and doubt raised by the questions. Chorus is turn up loud and sing along memorable chorus!!! so i definitely think you've got a great song on your hands! Well done!!

Yes he did, but I've put it on hold for the time being...may take a bit of work or might need to get him back in to re-record, he has an unusual punk voice that doesn't always hit the note first time. So keen to hear your heavy rock version and I'll keep working on the punk rock version :-) Don't forget to register On The Other Side as a final with your PRO, its released officially on 1st May as part of my EP which I'll announce properly soon on Broadjam once I have all the website links, YEY!!
