I didn't notice a lot of distortion on the track when I played it but I'm curious about what you heard because I used a mp3 volume increase program and want to make sure that it is not affecting the distortion level. ??? I am getting ready to let go of a Otari 2" 24 trk machine and a Otari 1/4" 2 trk mastering deck sometime in the near future. I just don't ever use it anymore! Pro tools and stuff ya know. I know that analog is really sweet sounding but...
