Hey Oskar, Thanks so much for the fine review of my song, "You've Got The Keys To My Heart". I'm glad you liked it and appreciate all your feedback. I recorded that song in 1974 in LA. I had quite the band backing me up on this song and the CD, "The Taxi To Tonganoxie". So much of this album was based around :20 minutes of rehearsal per song and then.... "A-1-a-2-a-3.....go!" Sadly, several members of the band, the incredible Laura Allen, multi-instrumentalist & premier film composer Wayne Goodwin...have all passed away, so there will be no chance to re-do the song. But, that is OK.....it is a fun song.....and very much the improvised piece......... What I really loved about your review is that fact that you thoroughly enjoyed a song recorded 43 years ago. Hi Simon, Thanks for the kind review of my instrumental piece, "Red Mesa Sunset". I am glad you liked it. It is the title tune to my New Age-Meditative CD, "Red Mesa Sunset". One comment I have about the review is about the length of the piece. I created this CD as a collection of music for a couple of my friends to listen to when they were going through Chemo. So, when composing the music I decided that I wanted it to be meditative which allowed me to step out of the 3-4 piece. I think if you were to go to my site and play the whole CD with some headphones, you will emerge refreshed. Anyway, I ALWAYS love your reviews and look forward to the next one. Best, Chet Nichols

Appreciate your review of "Maybe". It was my 1st co-write. Amelia Blake was great to work with. I was looking to write something that was more like a jazz standard with maybe a little more current flavor to it. Glad you liked it. Listened to "Kids Rule"....sounds like you're having fun. Liked it.

Dis is really nice, but your musician has to line up his parts. I think his score and orchestration are outstanding, but again the ideas are not clear because his entrances and exits are not clear. The lyrics are perfect. Very good, enjoyed it, all we need is MO! lkb

Hi Simon, Glad you liked Great Commission. I wrote it to teach the kids Mt 28:18-20 and then my producer suggested I put a story into it. It was a challenge to tell the story of the Ethiopian Eunuch in the same song structure but God helped me do it. At this time I am not looking for collaboration...just way too busy as it is. I had reviewed "Dark Eyes", but the drum beat was different here. I think I like this version better because the drum sounds are more fiitting to the composition. Nice change!
