Dear Sara, I agree strongly with John Hansen. Naked made me weep, but also brought up the issue that you should be Top 10! Here's how to get there: 1) Reclassify Naked to Pop-Religious (all Love songs are about God) 2) Reclassify Beep Beep to Unique-Children (there is a dearth of good music in this genre) 3) Reclassify Saddanada and Perspective to Folk-Alternative (You are a Folk Artist, my dear) 4) Connect to me. (My new connections almost always make the Top 10) Pop is the most glutted genre on the site, and short of Religious, gets the least plays. I am amazed and humbled by the plays and revies I have gotten under Folk-Alternative in such a short time. Your Voice and Music deserve to be heard! Roy, enjoy your day.....but tomorrow I would appreciate a detailed accounting of how the movement on the top 10 lists occur....seems to be the best kept secret on the site! Is it points attributed to plays, reviews or a combination? I believe that I'm not alone in wanting to know this... Thank You!
Ziplok, We have numerous members who have recorded thousands of reviews. It might be an interesting stat. Years ago we actually had a Reviewer Top 10 based on volume and other criteria......Best, Roy
Rich, I pulled this from our FAQ page. There is more information there. Hope this helps.....Roy Fans, musicians, and industry pros, listen to and evaluate songs. After a song has been reviewed three times it becomes eligible for a Broadjam Top 10. The ten songs that have the highest average rating, based upon reviews, are placed on the Broadjam Top 10. Each genre also has a Top 10 that is comprised of the ten highest rated songs in that genre. All Broadjam Top 10's are updated daily. Once a song has been evaluated, our algorithms determine the fairness of the review. When complete, placement in our ranking system is determined.
