Catchy hook. Soulful vocals really set this alight. Solid lyrics. Fits the genre of classic R&B perfectly.

Greg brings up an important moment that every creative mind must face: do I continue?
after 45 plus years of battling with the music demon, I have no hope of recovery. nor do I wish to recover. the fact that so few of the 'creative music artists' (less than 2% worldwide) will ever gain the respect nor retail support of the music industry-at-large should never be an excuse to stifle our muse.

that is the single reason why I belong to this community we call Broadjam. to share and enjoy the gift of music in all its forms. the top tens, while fun to see and earn, they come and go, as they should, to make room for others to brandish that honor.

the 'pack' is really a test of our mental metal, not of our talent or artistic value. who are we to judge one another without first judging oneself. what is truly the hallmark of good, better, best when it comes to expressing the thought process that leads to some form or genre of music. your guess is just as valid as mine or any one else.

thank you, one and all, for sharing your talent with the likes of our fellow members. screw the music biz. just enjoy the ride. in this community, you will be heard because we all make a difference. CHEERS!

as always, your friend in music - pgo

If you're not doing music for its own sake then why do it? And if you have already answered "I love making it, period" then the question is moot. And thank God for this community because it would drive me nuts if I couldn't get at least a few good peers to listen to the results. I just did a gig with my acoustic duo tonight in a brew pub in a little town. Having a room with ten people listening intently and enjoying the music is great satisfaction, and knowing that we're playing really well is immensely gratifying. It's about beauty made and shared. That's it.

I agree with all the above. However, we would all feel better if instead of 2% making millions, it was more like 98% making thousands?
