hey, thanks for the new track head's up - yeah, remarkable how it reminds me of the really low singer in the band, (can't think of it's name, drivin' me crazy) - a 90's band. Anyway, your low voice is one of those really distinctive things that make you unique and recognizable. i like it.

Listened to Jaded. Here are my thoughts (for what they're worth, which isn't probably much, but heym at least it's feedback, right?). Quite a good song, but the production is very muffled. I like the voice. It has has lots of interesting character but here it sounds weak & lacking confidence. Why? Because it needs LOADS more top end to bring it to the front of the mix (it doesn't necessarily need more level). Then it'll sound crisp and breathier. Thats probably all it needs to sound really great.
Also the clean guitar on the verses is played well but sounds wooly. I'd roll off ALL the bass end of it and narrow the sound to a moderate bandwidth somewhere in the mids to upper mids. Its extreme, but a simple way to to make it keener and brighter. The crunch guitars in the chorus sound fine.

Listened to 12 Months and it sounds better but my above thoughts apply to it, too.

Feel free to think of me as an over-opinionated bastard nobody though, cos that's basically what I am.

thanks collin, the feedback is great. the mixing is a big issue for me, its just me in my garage trying to figure it out. i will try what you said and see if i can get a crisper sound on it all. other than the mix, how was the song? i am pretty new to this whole singing thing and still not sure if i can pull it off. thanks again

I think an OOB here and there can be educational. what the heck is that band i used to love and have a CD of - the lead singer has a voice almost exactly like "one last day" - it's really distinctive and i still love the low.
