Laura, bless you for such a kind review, as well as a helpful one, on my song You Call It Love. You obviously "got it". I appreciate the comments about the production. I've wanted to remix this song for more than a year. Now's the time because it's making some top tens and it may be a tune that has legs. We write primarily for film, video and television. I was after a Leonard Cohen feel with the minor progression and wanted a little bit of a dark feel to it. We got a little carried away when we originally mixed it and agree immensely with your review. Thank you again and good luck to you with your musical endeavors.

Laura, Thanks for your review of Young Love. You are absolutely correct about the disconnect between the 1st verse and the "Young Love refrain. Kevin and Penny - it was shameful - the review you gave to 'Unconditional Love'. It really did not help me. You gave 2 and 3's. Your positive comment was 'good sentiment' and your constructive comment was 'sounds too much like other songs so I know exactly where it's going'. Please try to be fair in your future reviews. If you thought the song sounded like others you know then would it not have been better to give less points for originality and judge the rest of the song on it's own merit. We are all here to learn from one another and improve. Laura
Hi Laura, I am sorry you are so unhappy with the review I gave you. I accept that I did not spend as much time as I would have liked on it, but I find reviewing songs an iterative process and I got dragged away before I could finish. However, the song is very close to another song I know, the keyboards don't sit well in the mix and your singing is out of tune in a few places. I hope this helps more.

Reminded me of Willow Creek Church's featured songs..they have a smokin band and the singers are exceptional; the church is here in the states (Illinois USA).
