Thank you for your review of "Somewhere Between (My Heart and My Head)"...I recorded it with a 4track in my bedroom 10 years ago after meeting a nice girl in Toronto. She claimed I was somewhere between her heart and her head. We really only met once and the rest was hopefulness on her part. I wasn't in the same place she was I guess. I was experimenting with tunings on the guitar which gave it the modal quality. I'm actually a woodwind player so the guitar is not quite up to the level I'd like it to be. I do thank you again for checking it out.

Hi, I have a question about licensing. If we submit songs to multiple opportunities and one of them results in single song publishing deal. Does this negate the others? Is it a case of first in,first served or does the non exclusive clause in the agreement still allow other opportunity providers to use the song?
Chris, Generally, if the deal is exclusive, then any follow-up deal would be negated. However, if it's non-exclusive, then you can shop your music to other providers on or off Broadjam. Also remember that all contracts are unique and I'm speaking in generalities here. Remember to read each one carefully to make sure you get the desired outcome.....Hope this helps....Roy
