Kate, thanks for your comments on my song, "Why Does the Caged Bird?" Yes, it is my original song btw. I counted your comments a big complement. Blessing this Christmas season.

You are welcome, Laura, Merry Christmas! Mrs Kate

Thanks for your kind reviews. -Dede

Hi Laura ! thanks for adding me.

Huge Latin fan. Nice and jazzy salsa here. I like the electric guitar when it comes in, but not so much the break with the horns.

Really enjoy the pathos of Annie's Song.

I'm in the studio again. I finished an Americana tune called Where Do We Go From Here. It's a true story about 2 brothers who fought on opposite sides in the civil war.

I recorded another tune called Sticky Blue Goo. I collaborated on that one with a great writer by the name of Greg Hollister.
I also completed a contemporary rock tune called Holding Onto Yesterday and I'm working on a piece now that's about a serial killer.

I'm always into collaboration. If you're interested, give me a shout!

Can't judge the lyrics. (what's Feenin? :P ) is she a nympho? Like the song! I think it's really hip and actual!
Would I listen to it? most likely not, but I don't listen to most of the hits I hear on the radio these days, so I think you are definitely on the right track for the hit lists :)
Really cool production!

Thanx everyone... I really appreciate your input.

Appreciate the fair review!
Yeah, the 'kiss' reference was some kind of allusion to a 'Judas' thing.
:)

Thank you for taking the time to review Homemade Bread. Mrs. Kate

Sweet starts here. Put my songs out here for sale this week. I write in several genres. Would like to represent as a songwriter, so if you know of someone looking for new material, send them by and I'll thank you.

Hello, Ms. Laura! Thank you for the review of my song, 'St. Charles Avenue Nocturne'. This song does not have lyrics to it, nor do any of my songs. I think several of my instrumentals would work as songs with lyrics, however. But since my strength lies in melody and harmony, that is where I tend to operate from for now. Perhaps I will team up with a lyricist who has a genuine interest in my music sometimes in the near future. Success for all!

Laura..Thanks for taking the time to review "How Long?'. As well, thank your for the positive words. Best wishes.

Sounds great and the lyrics and phrasing are amazing.

Thank you so much:) That means so much coming from you - checked out your profile and loved your music:)

Laura, In Deed is a beautiful and trippy tune. As the Folk Religious guy having held the #1 spot for nearly 2 years, I am more than ready to share the Love. I wrote The Angels about the songs the Angels would sing to me all night while I was dying, telling me my work was not done. So now my work is Spreading the Light and Love. I extend the Olive Branch of Friendship with an open heart. - Nick

I'm liking this unique nook category, too, Nick. Warm Thx.

Hi Laura,
Thanks for your review of "Don't do me no wrong", I agree about the ending and it's something I intend to change but haven't got round to it yet,

Tommy

Hi Laura, thanks for the review of 'Butterflies', it's quite an old recording and there are things I would do differently now, I'm sure you know what I mean. The thread I tried to get lyrically was that tiny things change everything else, given time....the sunflowers and the decor.....the butterflies and the hurricaine...and so on. Thanks again, really like your stuff by the way, good luck with it.
John

Thanks for inviting me to Broadjam, Kathryn! To borrow a phrase from you, I'm gonna be another brilliant beginner. Cheers!

Thank you Laura for your review of my instrumental version of 'I can see it in your eyes' Yes it is designed to be a soundtrack tune rather than a complete song. It is quite laid back by my standards and I can see where the 'massage music' idea might work.
Regards David

Hi Laura! Welcome to Broadjam!
