Hey Ted, thanks for the kind words for my song "Here We Go". I always like hearing from a fellow SoCal musician, it sure is tough getting traction around here. Peace, Dave

Ted, thank you for your review of "I'll Hold Your Heart" ... I appreciate your kind words and your good advise ... I took it to heart and asked my demo person to change the unison vocal on the bridge to a harmony vocal. I think it will make a good difference.

Janet,
Thanks for your kind review of my song "Better Way". I had not noticed the "echo". It is actually an overdub- no excuse- done in a different studio. I changed the lyric there and failed to match things up properly. I have gone back to the original lyric until I re-do. Thanks again, it was one of the most useful reviews I have ever gotten.

Thanks,
Hank Hhomas

Hi Kim. Thank you for the kind words in your review of my song , "Anymore". It's funny on that one. In the license submission peer review it's received a 99% in one and a 5% in another.... You never know if song will catch someone's fancy. Please recommend one of your tunes for me to listen. Peace, Dave

Hi Dave, you are welcome, i enjoyed listening. That is a big difference in the peer reviews. The 99% should have made you happy. Have you had any luck with licensing your music? i just started sending mine in. As far as which song of mine to listen to, I guess my favorite would be "just go", but it just depends on what you like, it is a ballad, but I do have quite a bit of variety. Let me know what you think. Keep in touch, Kim

Thanks for your kind words reviewing my song "I'm Falling Out". RE: accordion. I wanted it to sound Alt-Country/Americana. It seemed more rock without it. Must say I did waffle back and forth but decided to keep it. I appreciate the listen. Peace, Dave

Hey Dave!
Thanks for reviewing my song "You're Just 18". Your review is a great model of how a review should be--constuctive while encouraging. I agree with your critiques to make it better, just can't afford a full band...some day though. Thanks for your comments about the bridge, I contemplated long and hard to write one, and ultimately decided against. This song was written from personal experience with my daughter. May not be "marketable", but hopefully depicts a relatable experience of a dad waiting up for his daughter.

I am but a simple songwriter. I write the lyrics, melody, and progressions.
Jason Wyatt plays and sings--he's great!

Really appreciate your review.
I am looking forward to checking out your music (sitting in an airport right now...)

So we meet again, Matthew. Thanks for your comments and review of "Praise Be The Light". I'm so glad you got to hear it as you are a Pastor. It's not my usual subject matter. I wrote it in one take , a special moment for me, it just came out after overhearing my daughter talk to her Pastor.
.
I also checked out some of Jason's songs. He is a truly talented musician. Peace, Dave

Hey Dave - thanks for the sweet review of "So Gone." I wrote it for an ad pitch and am trying to decided whether it's promising enough to go in again and try to make the lyric a little more commercial country. Reactions like yours are making me think it might be worth a shot. Thanks again! And I look forward to checking out your stuff, too.

Dave, I want to thank you for the stellar review of Your Path, your kind words are truly appreciated. No need to apologize for some 4's! The shocker is that the singer, Cristina, is in 8th grade! She's an amazing young lady and actually had a hand in the writing. Thanks again, and all the best.

Dave - Thanks for reviewing "Just The Way They Are." Being pretty new to putting my music out for other people too hear, especially in this type of format, any feedback is welcomed and appreciated.

To answer your question, it was basically a stripped down basic demo. I wanted too see how it would sound if we just did it acoustically, but I have had several people suggest adding bass and drums, which I am in the process of doing. I was actually pretty happy with the simple arrangement, but can see how adding bass/drums to the mix will enhance the song. Thanks again for the review and suggestion. Nick

Hi Lou,
Thanks for listening to a couple of my tunes. However,... I didn't have them lined up in the order I wanted to make that first impression, so you kinda checked out my last choices. Would you care to check out my first one or two listed and let me know what you think? I'd respect hearing from you (based on the strong tracks you've got here) . Thanks, Dave
