Christie has been writing and playing music for several years and has developed into a powerful singer and lyricist. Born and raised in New York City, she taught herself how to play guitar from the young age of thirteen and has been writing narratives of her life and other's ever since. During the summer of 2010 she recorded her first full-length album, Bare, and has recently released her first EP After, which is a testament to her genuine talent and power as a performer. Christie brings her audience honest, perceptive lyrics and a passionate voice that allows the listener to relax and begin a journey of intimate experiences and eloquent story-telling. Christie's original works are enhanced by an eclectic choice of instruments, which heighten her poetic language. Critics have described her music as "stunningly convincing," and "raw and transporting."
