Charlie Nice, born and bred in Connecticut, continues to build a strong following. Since its inception the band has stayed true to its influences. Their foundation, deeply rooted in blues and infused with a heavy modern rock sound, resonates to create a style all their own.

Anthony Truglio, the bands guitarist, grew up playing classic rock and building his chops before starting a band called Liege Lord. He recorded three albums for Metal Blade Records and toured extensively throughout the country. in 1989, Anthony met up with Trond Fletcher. Trond was playing in a ska band called The New York Citizens. Together they took their experience on the road and began to blaze trails with their own venues. Soon they met blues singer "Cryin' Tim Lyons" at a New York club. Tim's strong, down and dirty, raw vocals ripped through the music and caught their attention. The three began work to pursue their own musical visions.
