Bio
As far back as I can remember, I have had music in my soul. These were to me "The Good Old Days" of tear-jerkin/down home music.
From my 1st and 2nd grade class rooms I remember asking my teachers to let me sing songs for the class.
On some occasions they would allow me to sing. A few years passed and I formed my own band.
I got a real rush from actually playing in front of large paying crowds. While playing at the local Heart O' Texas Fair in Waco one year, my band was approached by a record producer who asked if we would like to make a record. Soon after that all night session, I joined the house band at a local club. One night while we were on our break, the manager of a road band offered me a job playing bass with his band who would be leaving on tour the following weekend. We ended the tour in Chicago and played our way all the way back to Texas ending up playing the Tip Top Club in Amarillo. I have not stopped playing and loving good music to this day. I invite you all to take a trip with me back to The Good Old Days of Tear-Jerkin, Down-Home Music." http://www.charleywaco.com
