Charles is a songwriter and instrumental composer of contemporary cues for AV and multimedia projects.

While some pursue glamour and fame with three chords, a haircut and painfully over-compressed CD's, Charles prefers a simplified approach: present the songs in a plaintive, sincere and authentic manner, so their true identity is obvious to the listener.

Whether it’s homage to an inspiring book in “Row a little boat” or telling the true story of a missing woman in “The girl who runs no more”, Charles writes songs with a refreshing emotional sincerity.

"In order to connect with an audience, your songs need to be accessible. I always keep that in mind when I'm composing, and I think it shows."
