I've been casually playing guitar since 1988 and have been the guitarist for 3 bands and the singer for one, garage bands that performed sporadically at best. After many years laying dormant, I just recently rescued my Stratocaster from storage and have been dusting off my languishing guitar skills. Since late June 2005, I have been recording with Sony ACID 5.0 with very limited equipment - a couple of electric guitars, an acoustic/electric, and a couple of pedals - to create some rough drafts by direct recording into my PC by way of ACID 5.0 and then tinkering around with rough mixes (with errors) and am focused more on potential than finished quality. I am very open to suggestions and con.criticism, especially since I have recently dedicated myself towards learning the ins and outs of production/engineering.
