Cat Dail & the Magnets are a 5-piece band with a lot of talent and a decidedly indie groove.

Award winning singer/ songwriter/ guitarist/ producer, Cat Dail has been part of the NYC indie music scene since fronting her successful 90s band, distant cousins.

"Shimmer Glow" brings Cat Dail, Joel Newton and Aaron Whitby together with Dail's original distant cousins rhythm section of Bill Berry and John Kim. It's a compact, extremely able group, producing remarkable arrangements with lush results. The styles visited are eclectic: rock, funk, disco, reggae, alt. country... but they all come together because the band has a definitive, signature style. Dail's vocals are bang on, full of emotion and whimsy, velvet. The Magnets play beats, solos, fills with a high level of agility, passion and fun.
