If you crossed the Beastie Boys with a Swedish Reebok Step class you would have THE CASIO BROTHERS - the explosive 'Swedish Masters of Hip Hop'. Fabio & Mario's positive energy & enthusiasm for fun is highly infectious as they skilfully rock a crowd & get them laughing at the same time.

SWEDISH MASTERS OF HIP HOP

They charmed the Adelaide Fringe Festival & Australian Idol in 2004... They rocked the Big Day Out & Adelaide Peace Festival in 2005... They returned to Big Day Out in 2006… And at this year’s Fringe Festival the notorious CASIO BROTHERS stole the limelight, representing The Fringe in Eventful Adelaide Magazine, Virgin Blue and Qantas Magazines, with special guest performances at the Fringe Registrations Launch Party and at the Opening & Closing Parties for the Fringe Club at Higher Ground.

"…unfailingly entertaining songs and hysterical, gravity-defying dance antics" – Sunday Mail (Big Day Out 2006)

In February, THE CASIO BROTHERS took out "Most Popular Dance Act" at the SAMI Awards (SA Music Industry Association) after receiving 2 nominations, the other for "Most Popular Electronica Act."

THE CASIO BROTHERS first caught Adelaide's attention in the 2004 Fringe Festival when they wheeled a giant home made ghetto blaster thru the city in the Opening Parade, pumping out their tunes to the 100,000 Adelaidians lining the streets.

" THE CASIO BROTHERS are the definitive 1980's euro-trash rappers from the Brompton Bronx. Local lunacy and hip-hop hilarity, these guys must be seen to be believed!" - InTheMix.com.au

When Australian Idol came to Adelaide in 2004, THE CASIO BROTHERS recognised their chance to become bedroom posters. Before the judges & a television audience of millions, they performed 'Reebok Jam' – their quirky rap number about Suzie the aerobics instructor. Their 'unique' sense of fashion saw them crowned 'Unforgettable' on the Idol semi final night. Fabio was just happy for the opportunity to meet Marcia Hines & use hair gel.

"You know, you boys could make a lotta money doin’ what you do" - Marcia Hines, Australian Idol 2005.

When Idol returned to Adelaide in 2005, so did THE CASIO BROTHERS, who were shown on the show arriving in a black stretch limousine & stepping out in style onto red carpet before TV cameras & screaming fans.

The Herald Sun reported, "The Most Audacious prize goes to repeat offenders THE CASIO BROTHERS, who arrived at the Adelaide auditions in a stretch limo, and with their own sound guy. The screaming, sleep-deprived fans waiting in line swamped the limo, thinking it was their "Idol" Guy Sebastian. Guy made a very humble arrival 15 minutes later in a cab."

On May 13, THE CASIO BROTHERS performed at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Adelaide selling a total of 900 tickets.

On July 14, THE CASIO BROTHERS will be performing at the SA Great Annual Convention before a VIP audience of 1000 including SA politicians, key community figures, with full press & TV coverage. THE CASIO BROTHERS will be officially recognised as SA Icons.

THE CASIOS have performed alongside the likes of Grandmaster Flash (USA), Money Mark (Beastie Boys), Lior, Joel Turner & have featured on Triple J, Triple M, Fresh FM, 3D Radio, Australian Idol, Awesam TV (SA & USA).
