John Myers/Blue Light Production

Beginning as a piano/keyboard player, John Myers aka BiggJohn started his career writing and producting the song "Romance You" on a group called Good To Go in the 90's. He later went to school for audio engineering and after graduating he quickly became an in-demand recording/mixing engineer. Soon he found himself working behind the scenes in plush studios mixing songs for Ludacris, David Banner, Lyfe Jennings, Britney Spears and others. He also recorded with Macy Gray, Montell Jordan, George Clinton, Method Man, Redman, and did engineering on the Grammy nominated song by Usher and Ludacris "Yeah". Somehow during that time he found the energy to learn guitar and thus added a few notches to his title which is now writer/producer/engineer/keyboard and guitar player! John says "I really went to engineering school to be a better producer! I didnt expect all the engineering work but I'm glad it happened, now its time to make the music I've always dreamed of making". Renewing his focus on writing and production, John put together a group of artists and writers and started the production company Blue Light Music. In 2007 he received his first Gold Album for producing the song "Jump" by Lil Josh aka J McCoy on the soundtrack for the Disney movie Jump In. John is now in the studio with Natalie Stewart of Floetry, Portable Payback (Marc7 and Soup from Jurassic 5) and new R&B artists Ginger Jackson and Troy Cash. Look for BiggJohn and Blue Light Music on top of the charts baby!
