We got a chance to play with a StealthPedal at the Broadjam offices, and it’s a really cool hybrid of software technology and old-school music hardware technology. The StealthPedal is both an Audio Interface and software Controller in a compact, wah-style pedal. It’s built tough enough to use live on a regular basis, but it can also play an integral part in recording by controlling the included “Powered by Amplitube” software or any other amp and FX modeling software with MIDI control capabilities.
The StealthPedal also comes with a great assortment of software including AmpliTube 2 Live guitar and bass amp and fx modeling software, standalone and plug-in, Ampeg SVX UNO, standalone and plug-in bass amp and fx modeling software, AmpliTube X-GEAR, Sonoma Riffworks T4 for immediate recording/composing/online sharing with your Mac or PC and AmpliGrooves Loops from Sonic Reality. Plus it’ll all work on either a PC or Mac.

The winner of this giveaway blog will win all of this, plus a great extra: AmpliTube Fender Studio software. It’s an LE version of the official guitar/bass Amp and FX software AmplitTube suite, bundled with the StealthPlug guitar-to-USB audio interface cable. It also includes the AmpltiTube X-GEAR expandable guitar/bass amp and FX modeling system, Riffworks T4 recording software, and AmpliTube Fender LE Amp and FX modeling software which includes 15 pieces of gear sampled from the most sought-after classic and modern Fender amps, cabinets, stompboxes and rack effects.

These are really cool controllers for the guitarist that are into cutting edge gear. I recently tried one at a local music store with a few familiar guitar modeling plugins in a DAW set up. I was looking for a unit like this to use with my plugins but also wanted something I could use in a live situation as I’ve started to use stand alone gtr software recently. I wanted to see how it feels as compared to other rocker pedals ala wahs, vibes and whammys. I was suprised to see that this pedal feels and works just like those classic pedals we’ve grown to love. My favorite feature, if you are using it as an expression pedal with a guitar modeler you can customize the tone and sweep and save the settings. Excellent guitar effect and studio software controller All wrapped up in an easy to use and familiar style pedal. I know it’s called the steath pedal but I want everyone to see mine (when I get one)!
Aug 31, 2009/6:21 pmThis state of the art hybrid simply rocks, and with it, so can you.
On the road, at home, and forever on the go, this peddle provides everything you’d need to swell those chugging riffs to epic proportion in a moments notice.
It’s time to do your neighbors a favor and shelve that amp while your polishing up your new work. How so? This beauty comes stock with the Amplitube Fender Studio, giving you the power to take you’re line in and give it that BIG PERFORMANCE sound without having to reserve a spot in Carnegie Hall.
With Riffworks, you can record your new BIG SOUND performances with ease and prep them for digital consumption on the fly for both your mac or pc… Leaving you few excuses to not make the time to get it done and to more importantly, do it right.
This unit is highly durable, boasts USB direct to a computer, two line ins, stereo monitor outs, plug ins for external expression pedals, and most importantly… A volume nob with a headphone jack to turn up when your roomate insists on watching those American Idle Rewinds.
This is an all in one package that offers solutions to Bass players, vocalist, and Guitarist alike when it comes time to play, create, and inspire yourself closer to perfection. This is one item you really don’t want to leave at the door when it comes to blazing a trail to the top.
Best Regards:
