Dec 22, 2006/3:17 pmI’d just like to say a big seasonal thanks to all the Broadjam staff who’ve made my time here on Broadjam such a pleasure for me. I joined Broadjam 18 months ago with the sole intention of using the service as an upload facility for Taxi submissions. But I’ve had so much more out of Broadjam. Since then I’ve connected with many first class artists and writers, some of whom are rarely heard outside their own their own four walls. Since then, I’ve really enjoyed involving myself in critiquing reviews and contests, listening to some great music, which is always giving me that push to try to improve my own thing. And it’s all down to your hard work, improving your product, that you’re helping to create and maintain a great community of artists that you serve, 99% of whom you’ll never meet. And to many of us, I’m sure, this means a lot as you’re probably the only way we’ll ever be heard – outside of our own locale, let alone across the five continents – specifically by other kindred artists. Many thanks, Guys. I’m looking forward to 2007 on Broadjam.

Thank you for a fabulous site – especially the opportunity to submit for Taxi Listings through you. It makes life SO easy!
I have a new music video just released which is up on you tube – just search “Karen Jacobsen” or view it on my myspace page – http://www.myspace.com/karenjacobsen It reflects my experience sponsoring a little girl in Zambia, Africa and the journey of traveling to Africa to meet her. There is footage from a concert I performed for 250 children living in extreme poverty at the end of the video. Watch it, tell your friends, help create awareness about the difference child sponsorship can make to end poverty.
The release of my new record “Kissing Someone Else” is on January 24th at Joe’s Pub in New York with my 6 piece band – and I am heading to Australia to share the holidays with my family.
