  • Tony, you know how I feel. Hows it going T?

  • Getting very pissed at those artists who give very minimal reviews without taking the time to listen properly and giving some constructive comment.
I don’t mind receiving a bad review as long as there is some comments re this, but artists who write..
“interesting” as a positive comment and something like “
I don’t know where he’s going with this” as a constructive comment leave me cold…no help at all!.
If you can’t be bothered to do a decent review or don’t like the genre or something else about it..leave it alone.Pick another tune.
Don’t say “nothing” just to get your review credits up.
I’m sure a lot of artists agree with this.

INDIE ARTIST TED ROSEDALE - BEST ROCK MUSIC WEBSITE OF YEAR New York (November 11, 2007) - Long Island NY based rock artist/songwriter and Broadjam member Ted Rosedale is among a diverse group of independent musicians named as finalists of the 7th Annual Independent Music Awards. Ted Rosedale’s rock website is nominated as one of the five best music websites of the year. The flash animated website http://www.tedrosedale.com is the first site ever to integrate the music of entire album into an interactive visual/audio experience. Ted’s debut album “Home” was released independently last November. Ted wanted to create a unique website experience, something that would be a showcase for his special music and debut CD. Ted Rosedale writes all his songs, sings and plays virtually all the instruments on the recording.

  • E-Heart Records Announces partnership with Splash! Public Relations.

Dallas — E-Heart Records is now represented by Splash! Public Relations out of Nashville. Splash! President and Owner Vanessa Parker-Davis said yesterday: “I listen to TrueHeart’s CD The Road on my way home from work to unwind and decompress from a hectic day in the office. It seems only natural to work to get this CD and TrueHeart the recognition this product so richly deserves.”

E-Heart Records Founder Ross Vick commented: “The chaotic nature of the music industry over all makes taking things into your own hands more important that ever. The opportunities aren’t always going to come to you. You’ve got to go get them. Vanessa’s experience at the major labels gives her insight to how the sausuage is made in Nashville. She knows how to navigate past the gate keepers in the idustry to get the product to the consumers. Our first single release “The Road” reached 27* at Billboard AC and 25* AC at Mediabase. The strenght of this showing for an unknown act, first time out has led to the release of our second single: “Plan for Peace” for the Holidays. Vanessa will provide the critical mass we need to acheive our goals with this second release.”

  • Hey everyone, I have just won American Idol Underground!

For three months during the summer American Idol Underground ran a competition to find the best new pop song and, out of over 300 entries, my song ‘U Girl’ came in first having been voted for by mainly an American audience. This is a great honour for a UK artist.

My music is very much in the pop singer songwriter vein, in the style of Natalie Imbruglia and Dido. The single which won the competition, ‘U Girl’ is a song which reaches out to girls of all ages who have suffered heartache and in the words of the song, tells them to ‘let it go girl’ ‘leave behind the pain my friend’ ‘this is where your troubles end’. If used in a Hollywood love story it would undoubtedly be a worldwide smash.

This proves that persistence pays and now, I hope to capitalise on this, by securing a label partner in the US to release the record where it has proved to be so popular. At the same time I will be looking to secure a publishing deal for my work so expect to hear a lot more from me!

  • TO ALL MEMBERS OF BROADJAM:
AS THE 6-PACK WINDS DOWN GOOD LUCK TO ALL.
EVEN THOUGH I DON’T COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND THE RATING SYSTEM I RE-ENTERED THE COMPETITION.
ONE SONG I ENTERED IN THE EVENT CATEGORY I HOPE EVERYONE HEARS.
    IT’S CALLED “I HAVE A DREAM”… UP-TEMPO GOSPEL SONG.
PLEASE LISTEN ALL THE WAY THROUGH AND YOU’LL BE REWARDED FOR THE EFFORT.
THE ACTUAL VOICE OF DR. MARTIN LUTHER JR IS HEARD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SONG.
THE FIRST TIME I HEARD THE SONG IN IT’S COMPLETED FORM IT NEARLY TOOK MY BREATH AWAY…AND I WROTE IT.
I HOPE EVERYONE ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS I DID WRITING IT.
