blog is cool =) so I am workin my buns off on a concept album for a broadway show, got a cast of 15 singers rehearsing and recording begins on the 11th to record 29 pieces of music co written by me and John Comfort, wish me luck! Since we are doing the concept disc in my studio with my crew it means I am having to wear the producer hat also UGH what a pain lol but the reward of having my stuff performed always makes it worth it! Otherwise lots and lots of orchestral film music library submissions and looking for the next gig

Becky Wright is up for her first DOVE Award (Gospel Music Association)! “While It is Day” (current single, from new album “No Denying”, Lamon Records) is on the First Ballot for “Inspirational Song of the Year”. Professional members of the GMA may vote, before Feb. 13th.

The GMA Music Week (and Dove Awards Show) will take place in Nashville, TN from April 21-25th. See http://www.doveawards.com for details.

Becky is a Broadjam artist from Oklahoma, with numerous songwriting and performance credits, in adult contemporary, singer/songwriter, Christian (various genres) and country.

She was also just named a TOP 10 nominee for “Female Horizon Award” for a national competition held in Texas annually, the Agape Fest Fan Appreciation Awards(www.kingcountryagapefest.com). Becky won “Duo of the Year” last year (with recording partner, Tommy Brandt) at the 4-day Christian music festival, and finished a Top 5 Finalist for Female Horizon.
