Our friends at Full Compass have provided us with a new product for the Broadjam Blog Giveaway. Up for grabs is the Audio-Technica M3M Wireless In-Ear Monitor System (List Price: $1,099.00). In ear monitors are best for vocalists and drummers, but the whole band can benefit from this audio tool. It can really help you to focus in on your own performance, cut down some extraneous noise, and mix in the right amount of other performers’ music.
The Audio-Technica M3M includes EP3 Headphones (in-ear dynamic headphones), M3T stereo transmitter (wireless UHF transmitter), and the M3RM body-pack stereo receiver. Both the transmitter and receiver have LCD displays that allow the user to select the proper settings. The body pack receiver allows the performer to control two separate mixes. You can have a mix of the band in one ear and vocals in the other, which is very cool. This system supports an unlimited number of receivers, so the whole band can enjoy the benefits of in-ear monitors. To read more about the specs for the Audio-Technica M3M please check it out at Full Compass. Additional M3RM body-pack receivers can be easily ordered from Full Compass, so everyone in the band can benefit.
So here is what you need to do to win this product. Post a comment telling everyone why you should have the Audio-Technica M3M Wireless In-Ear Monitor System, what features stand out and how you would use it. For the next few weeks we will review the comments. And then one of you will walk away with the Audio-Technica M3M In-Ear Monitor System, courtesy of Full Compass.
Best of luck,
Roy

My vote goes to “Cookie Cutter Girl!” I know this “Pop SUperhero” and she is definately the real deal. Half her time every week is devoted to her “Be A Hero” Groups & BLOG… without pay.
Oct 20, 2008/2:21 pmAssuming these are sincere and their deepest needs, no exageration, no BS, just sincere pleading for the prize because Of Course….THEY NEED THEM

WOW… I did not even realize there was a “voting portion” of this contest. I was simply posting to the Broadjam BLOG and came across a link to this page. I’m not trying to vote for myself… Just trying to clear my good name. *smile*
For the record, this so called “Pop Superhero’s” story is no “bullsh*t.” I have doctors’ appointments 6-7 days each week. Recovering became my full-time job after my accident. I just wanted to assure any doubters that my story CAN be verified by most music industry colleagues in the Boston,MA area. I DO understand that their are a LOT of scammers out there. I take my job as a Pop SUperhero very seriously, providing a 100+ page FREE MUSIC DIRECTORY on my website which features a page of KNOWN MUSIC SCAMMERS.
I worked with the head of a Christian Music band years ago. They played gigs in bars and clubs, like most bands, but they also performed on rotation at their church, which they felt was by far the most fullfilling. I think they were excellent role models for the youth of their parish. Providing positive role models for teens has ALWAYS been a priority to me, which is exactly why my “Inner Superhero” is a modern day “Wonder Woman.”
I also raise money for breast cancer research, via sales of pink ribbon chokers on VelvetChokers.com and “Save Your TaTas” T shirts on CookieCutterGirl.com. I run PowerofPink.com, which features a FREE BREAST CANCER DIRECTORY.
I just wanted to be certain that my fellow Broadjam artists have faith that I am “for real” and my story is 100% true. Massachusetts law does NOT require clubs or restaurants to have insurance. The club that caused my accident *claims* they did not have any insurance ONLY for the year of my fall. Sounds like a fish tale to me, but I can not prove otherwise. (Yes, I have a lawyer. No, they tell me my case is not good because they are no laws in place regulating music stage set-ups.)
I wish the best of luck to all the finalists, and could not agree more with the posters who feel that investing in our teenagers is PRICELESS.

20 bucks to submit to an opportunity tons of people will be submitting to….you guys must really be making lots of our money. No thanks.
Oct 17, 2008/9:59 amWell, personally I think that ALL the finalists are bullshitting, but how else do you win contests these days? lol You win them by getting your friends, family, and even the dog to vote for you, or your find a way to cheat the system somehow. It has very little to do with talent or honesty. And that´s the truth.
I vote for Cookie Cutter Girl, because she´s the only one I know from the 5 finalists.
Oct 17, 2008/9:25 amAnd here is why
I think that Finalist #1, Kenny Graff should win the Audio-Technica M3M Wireless In-Ear Monitor System. They really need it for a worthwhile cause! I think that what they are doing is really wonderful, and all who vote for them share in what they are doing to save the teenagers’ lives. You guys inspire me!
Oct 16, 2008/10:35 pmI’d have to go with # 1 as well. These kids need to hear uplifting songs than the ones that just gets you down.
Oct 16, 2008/9:19 pmGotta be the SuperDuper PoP Hero #4. That’s the most pathetic sh!t I’ve ever heard! Give it to her. Even if she’s bullshitting, that story has got to take the cake mon!Ahh hahaha!
Oct 16, 2008/4:07 pmI understand all the Blog Finalists want them and maybe even deserve them for providing the music we love to hear, but only #1 is doing it expressly for someone else. We need more committment to our youth and community. My vote goes to Blog Post Finalist #1!!!
Oct 14, 2008/4:13 pmHi,
My vote is for Blog Poster finalist #2 – Margaret Mcclure and those damn 7 things
Oct 13, 2008/8:14 pmHello,
I am voting for Margaret McClure – blog finalist #2. I know the importance of having these plugs and what a huge difference it makes in performance. We were in a competition in Texas and all we heard was a delay – that kept us from a tightness we had worked really hard for. When asking another band that won how they dealt with that delay – they responded that they knew about it – but had managed to avoid the problem by using an earplug monitor system such as these!
Margaret is a very hard working and talented musician and songwriter as well. Her songs display not only her originality – but show a true professionalism that is hard to match! I know she and her band are constantly performing and could really benefit from this monitor system. I also appreciate the support that Margaret gives to other musicians and songwriters and I believe she is an excellent choice as the recipient!

I cast my vote for Margaret McClure-
I know what it is to juggle kids, manage a home, pursue songwriting as a career, and top the whole things to do list with performing. Anything to lighten a heavy load for the nicest, hardest working, most excellent human being, is a venture I must support. As a perfectionist, overexposure to loud music has cost me some of my hearing as well so I feel strongly that steps must be taken to ensure the quality of work we have all come to expect from this awesome talent.
Rock on Redsurfer
Oct 13, 2008/7:59 amThe great state of Oregon would like to cast their 1 vote to Margaret McClure & Seventhings.
Oct 13, 2008/6:51 amMargaret is about as hardworking as a musician can get…she’s Mommin’ it up while being
a full time Rocker….she’s got ridiculous talent and deserves to hear her beautiful chops
as well as her fans do. And besides that…Margaret is a genuine caring person…really real…please make her Queen For A Day.
Ian Kenny Here…My vote goes to Margaret McLure and Seventhings.
Apart from being a Very Good Friend of mine, I know these Guys and Margaret…and I’m sure they need the M3M wireless system.
Oct 13, 2008/3:21 amI know for sure they are a Giging Band and play all kinds of venues. I remember Margaret talking about the In-Ear System some time ago…way before this Give away Comp.
The main reason you should give the M3Ms to Margaret…is because Margaret McLure and Seventhings are Very Close to Being Signed…and who would you rather have Promoting Your Product…
…an Unknown…or a Class Act on the Brink of Stardom!
Read through the blog entry finalists and tell us who should win the Audio Technica M3M Wireless In-Ear Monitor System Giveaway.
Thanks,
