Yup, I have to agree with Bobby. The contest ended in December and here it is May and I’ve only received 1 item ( of the 18 I was supposed to get). It amazes me that Broadjam really hipes this contest, makes thousands of dollars on entires and then sorta forgets about the winners – was there even an an announcement of the winners? And I got my 1099 and it said I had $3,400 worth of prizes. !! Well, as Bobby said, this is all retail and the stuff can be bought for half that price which means you might be able to get a fourth of that on ebay. Plus – many of the prizes are windows only and being a Mac person these are worthless to me. I wound up paying $800 more in taxes because of this. I don’t think very many musicians question these kind of “opportunity” companies as much as the should.
