  • WTF?

    Spam selling a PR product?

I know I love to spam as much as the next independent… But I’m not selling Iphone plans or streaming music.

    Cubase kicks ass…

Iphones are cool too… But they can’t do what Cubase can.

Broadjam has options to promote music beyond anything this guy can offer you. Just check the radio plans they have… Its worth the time.

In the meantime… Cubase has options beyond options to develop, refine, and deliver amazing productions from your very own living room.

    Regards:

  • I want deep intriguing blue eyes like that.

    I’m a guy… and I’m envious.

    I hate you…

    Yes… I hate you.

    LOL

    Kidding…

But you’re still a lady killer.

    Damnit.

Only if I had an image that could sell that well… Labels might actually offer me better than 10%.

Oh… and killer music. It says a lot when Roy picks you out of the bunch and smiles in your direction.

Congratulations. You should feel loved:) But I’m sure with music as great as your own, feeling loved is the last thing you’re likely contemplating gig after gig.

(mopes back to his project studio.)

    Cheers:)

  • Yes, I would like that too…ALL FOR FREE…particularly since I have a hosting account. I want to pick MULTIPLES for free!

I have sold a few songs, but I am no “hot artist” when it comes to sales. LOL.

I submit for license opportunities, and am a member of ASCAP…so I would like to treat at least some of my songs as sharewar. That is, commercial use…show me the $$$. personal use? Help yourself to the selected titles, if you like them!!!

1. Jul 10, 2009/1:02 pm Voisey’s comment is: As a solo gigging Musician In the Mountains of British Columbia, My Bose L1 original has opened more doors of opportunity within the last year than anything in the 20 years before. I am playing at the Top of Fernie Ski hill tomorrow and my L1 makes it possible for a quad to pack me up there. One trip! Once there, the sound is stunning! I feel like I have the voice of a God! It Sounds so Clear and so refined and it moves in every direction so uniformly, that it has rejuvenated my love for live gigging. It also allows me to play in venues that have never considered the idea before. In the space of one table setting, I stand there with my Bose. Brothers in music, side by side! Thank you Bose for helping me rediscover the passion of Music? I could certainly use a newer system because of the diversity of my gigs. If I was to win, I would donate my current L1 to a school or something in my area so that children can discover the incredible sound and engineering of his spectacular product.

2. Jun 29, 2009/7:23 pm Sunstone’s comment is: It was years ago, but I can still remember to this day when I stood in front of a music store window like a little boy standing looking into a toy store. It was just weeks before Christmas. The toy I wanted Santa to bring me was there right before my eyes. A Bose L1 PA system. It was on the top of my Christmas wish list and it was on the bottom of my Christmas wish list because it was the only thing I had on my list. I raised 8 children over the years so there never was enough money to buy things like a Bose system for Dad. In fact as my children got older and they started their own bands I noticed much of my music equipment disappearing. I was lucky to keep my Accustic Guitar. But now the kids are all gone and I am on my own and I still have that toy on my wish list. The first time I ever heard the Bose L1 system just blew me away. I love hearing a band with good vocals and this system gave them great volcals. The music that came through the system was so clean and rich. It was like I was in a recording studio. I was looking for other speakers on the stage but I could only see the one tower. It was so amazing that this one tower system could deliver such an unbelievable sound. After the gig I went and talked to the band to ask them what system they were using. His reply, “it’s a Bose L1 system”. I should have known because I have a Bose surround sound system for my TV. You can’t beat it! It was also so amazing to see how compact the system is and how easy it was to take down. Well even though I am much older now, I still have the passion to write songs and sing them to people. I just don’t have a system to sing through. But I still have my Christmas wish list, and yes the Bose L1 system is the only toy on the list because I do still believe in Santa Clause.

3. Jun 28, 2009/8:48 am Serundal’s comment is: In medieval times the minstrel played Pipes, a drum or lute Acoustics inside the castle walls Were never in dispute As a background sound for a royal feast The notes were crisp and clear And though the court laughed loudly Everyone could hear Now we play Celtic music Inside these ancient walls And climb the twisting staircases To reach the banquet halls Their stoney and their narrow And our speakers just won’t go They leave us so exausted We cannot do the show But if the Bose L1 was ours Our lives would surely change Because their so light and powerful And perfect for our range No more rapid breathing As we climb the castle stairs So we can sing like minstrels In those medieval fayres!

4. Jun 26, 2009/11:46 pm L. Carr’s comment is: I’d set up the L1 Tower And save at least an hour At my acoustic shows Wouldn’t sound like manure Be as cool as Mags McClure If I only had a Bose With it’s simple integration A mic and guitar station Like poetry versus prose I would give ‘em the full Monty Then I’d shred like John Visconti If I only had a Bose It would make my heart grow fonda To haul it in my Honda And leave my truck at home I could save a pretty penny Sound as good as Ian Kenny If I only had a Bose Sincerely, Wizard of Larz

5. Jun 10, 2009/4:46 pm aaronpersinger’s comment is: Bose has been making some of the most attractive and best sounding systems available. The fact that they are uber portable make them the best option out there for performers such as myself. The ability to set up this system quickly and the fact that it is perfect for audiences of 100 or less makes it the perfect piece of equipment for the majority of my solo performances. As a singer/songwriter who focuses on the story and lyrics of songs it is important that everyone hears a clear and true voice at my performances. The clear distribution of sound throughout a room makes this an important piece of equipment for sharing my gifts to audiences. I would use the Bose system at all my solo performances and also for rehearsals where there isn’t a full PA set up. http://www.aaronpersinger.com

Wow, it certainly is an interesting life huh? Sounds like you have had quite allot of soul bleeding too. I believe that as musicians, those experiences help us to become more generous. When we can honestly express in song how we truely feel, then we become the most generous.
When we reach that level then we bring an incredible gift to the world, because hopefully another person who is feeling alone and down hears it and then for a brief moment they feel better because deep down they know that thay are not alone here.
I feel Mother Treasea said it best. When asked by a radio show host in Philly how he could help her, she replied, Go out at 4 in the morning, go down to the skids, find someone who thinks they are alone and convince them that they are not!
I am still endeavoring to find my voice and my truth and I would love to be involved on a creative level with all of the generous and passionate artists that I have discovered here.
Cheers everyone, I raise my glass, together we can change the world.

  • Scott:
Larry shared his story with me, interestingly enough if I had known it before, I probally would have pulled. I talked to some schools around here, but they were apprehensive of me donating one to them because they were concerned about their history of caring for gear. The L1 compact is designed to handle smaller crowds. So I have decided to make one available for all local musicians to use at a local establishment that is endeavoring to create a music seen in our sleeply little mountain town. Hopefully it can help raise the quality of their performances that will draw fans and create the seen. I played on the road for 5 years straight all over Canada and the US, but when I found this place it was heaven. Dug in and stayed. Don’t play much here, mostly charities, but what has been available to the local musicians has been very dismal. Now, hopefully we can change things.
I am thankful for your passionate reaction. It is because of you I think that I ended up with a system too. It is always a positive outcome, just got to have faith in the process. Thanks Larry, I really appreciate it.

  • Protilius and Gragnat would like to offer a formal apology to PETA and all those with similar viewpoints on animal cruelty.

Unfortunately… Only a few of the needed samples were found in the Samplebase portfolio (due to humanitarian laws, yati, yati, ect) , and music found in this years six pack will contain live samples that were tragically obtained through unforeseen circumstances.

We appreciate your patience with Archive Productions and bid you a wonderful afternoon in the meantime.

Last week, we moved Broadjam.com to new servers. These servers offer several improvements to the “back end” of the site, but the bottom line is you should see an overall increase in the speed of Broadjam.com. We will continue to make improvements to the site as opportunities arise.
