Yella Boi Jones
Yella Boi Jones is the CEO of Southern King Records INC. and the member of the Fort Worth based hip hop group, Southern Kingz Finest. He is currently working on his debut solo album "I'm 2 Fresh :Swagg Motivation 101" featuring the smash hit single "Kotton Candii" & "Swagg Motivation 101" "Yella Boi Jones is one of the hottest up and coming hip hop artist". -James owner of Club 2010 & Won't Be Denied Productions Yella Boi Jones was born and raised in Stop Six, a small urban neighborhood inside the Fort Worth area. He started writing lyrics & free-styling with other local artist's at the tender age 13. Two years later he received his first major deal offer with Tommy Boy Records, but he didn't sign with them due to not being ready. In the mid 90's Yella Boi Jones formed a rap group called "Texas Boyz", but later on changed it to Southern Kingz due to the fact someone else was using that name. In the early 2000's Yella Boi Jones was force to stop rapping due to his misjudgment of getting into trouble with the law. While on lock-down Yella Boi Jones occupied his time by writing lyrics & developing his skills by battling others. When he returned back to society in 2007 he wasn't rapping yet, he was to busy supporting his Southern King family at different club events. Seeing how his group members were putting it down Yella Boi Jones was so anxious to get back in the studio to try out his new style. In 2008 he was on his road to success, he was featured in a independent movie "The Block" which was filmed & produced by "Won't Be Denied Productions". As a member of the group Southern Kingz Finest Yella Boi Jones has performed at several clubs in the Dallas-Fort Worth area such as, "The Ranch", "Club Chrome", "Crystals", "Palm Beach", The Ridglea Theater", "Club 2010" & other local hot spots. Southern Kingz Finest has opened up shows for "Devin the Dude", "Z-Ro", "Killa Kyleone" and other known artist's. Yella Boi has done several open mic shows at Club 2010 by being broadcast on KEBN Online Radio Network, interviewed by Tri Tv and mention in a Atlanta based magazine called "Chop It Up Mag" where Southern Kingz Finest were highly recognized for their "Texas Boyz" single off the Collateral Damage album. Now stepping outside of the box from his group, Yella Boi Jones is grinding none stop to get nationally known, so stay tune to the Yella Boi Jones show........
