Sleek, unique, melody driven rock...or pop, wait...or is it alternative? Who knows these days. SivaSongs is the umbrella under which singer/songwriter W. James Woods lives. There is solo stuff, there are project bands, etc.
James released a full- length album entitled “Moodswing” in 2000-2001, which led to lots of national attention by press, radio and T.V. including a license agreement with MTV for the series “Undressed”, as well as a song featured on a compilation with artists such as Peter Frampton, Eric Johnson, Seven Mary Three and others, for The United Way.
In 2002 James forged the band "Super So Far "
Since the bands outset, they have developed into a thriving original project, locally and regionally. The Super So Far sound is based on melodic vocals and instrumental dynamics through the adept use of guitars and drums, power and volume, ranging from “as heavy as the sky falling” to “atmospheric like wide open space” (and all points in between).
