Unhinged came to be first in 1999 and then later born again in 2001. The original band consisted of Justin, Dwight, and Max. After the original band came to an end, each member went their separate ways. Max to metal, Justin to punk, and Dwight to alternative. Later, around August of 2001, Dwight and Justin rejoined to form a rock band. Max walked over to Dwight’s house one day and introduced his brother, Dominic, to Dwight and Justin. The three of them jammed together for a while without a bass player (Max was in another band at the time). The guys asked Max to sub until they could find a permanent bass player.
