TJ writes and performs soulful acoustic based rock. Most all the music is written acoustically, yet some is electrified for variety/emphasis. TJ performs several times a month either as a solo acoustic gig in Syracuse N.Y. or with his band, NeVeRSeeN, playing both in Chicago and N.Y. The focus of the music is high energy (did you see that pic?) and insightful. NeVeRSeeN has played live gigs for 94.7 "The Zone" in Chicago as well as on WIIT, IL. Two of their songs are placed in an upcoming indy film, "Dorm Room". TJ will be the featured act for the live performances at the movie premiere in Chicago this fall. TJ has been described by his peers at broadjam.com as "Great voice! Great guitar(s) playing! Great arrangement! Liked the lyrics, too! Really liked it all!", "Great guitar hook. Powerful voice. Intelligent lyrics. Killer all around!!", "The vocalist has a great voice. I could here this guy on the radio." He plans to keep up the good work for a long time...be always heard

T.J. Neveldine - Biography

“The Dangerous Truth”

T.J. Neveldine’s voice sounds controlled and gnarly, his music feels focused yet disparate, and his mistakes appear completely on purpose. You’ll soon forgive his unpatented clichés and double on-the-rocks entendres because they make sense at the time in a “don’t knot” kind of way.

A wordsmith and musical weaver, the knack for relating to tangents of everyday situations seems to come naturally to this Northern New York native. The subject matter of his songs is portrayed to be familiar and palpable to most who listen. Relationships, good and bad, monkeys of the back persuasion, personal growth anthems, and even an occasional dysfunctional family tune are some of the topics he touches up with the brush of his musical whimsy. The point of view is admittedly variable ranging from someone, it seems, T.J. thinks he may have heard about once, right through to the front row seat for events that were experienced too closely to talk about. Differentiating the former from the latter is not expected or necessary as the music speaks and stands for itself.

The genre is best described as acoustic-based rock eked out in an emotional-laden and engaging singer-songwriter fashion. Put another way, it’s like someone plopped the meat of 3 Doors Down, Alice In Chains, and Live in a blender, sprinkled it with Jack Johnson and then beat it with a folk singer who plays soft core punk but publishes under a jazz label…just to piss you off.

TJ began his musical journey in 1999 eventually playing front man to various original and cover rock bands in the Chicago and Syracuse areas. During this time he was part of the featured act for shows sponsored by 94.7 The Zone (Chicago) as well as many other live events including a benefit for the daughter of Northern New York local music legend Jay Brown (Edison). T.J.’s vocals and guitar playing led one of his group endeavors, Linus Whip, to be the first band ever invited to perform a live set on WIIT 88.9 FM, the radio station of the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Currently performing six to ten shows a month in the Syracuse region, TJ might be found doing a solo acoustic act or playing out as the front man in his band NeVeRSeeN. His local performance and recording efforts have been well received, so much so that T.J. was invited to host a singer-songwriter evening weekly at a popular venue, Downtown Manhattan’s in Hanover Square. He is a firm believer in a supportive rather than competitive atmosphere for local music, which is why so many talented hosts elsewhere in town want to kick his ass. The fan base continues to grow, and the buzz of his entertaining music and energetic on-stage persona is maturing into a clearly audible hum.

T.J. Neveldine will draw you in with hooks and send you contemplating the messages...open the bottle and pass it around 'cause it's good for you.
