Double edged, bone crushing, fire and brimstone powered metal joined with hardcore and heavy punk influences. A united force of five combined to unleash utter terror and destruction – setting loose the forces of darkness to pillage and plunder forevermore across the earth.
Originally spawned in Stratford, Ontario in1999 under the name ‘Flatline’, the band toured the Ontario circuit as a quartet (Adam, Geodi, Scott) with former singer Rob Scarborough. Although the band was well received at shows they failed to inspire the metallic frenzy that the group was searching for. After recording a four song demo the band agreed that they needed a heavier, fuller, battleaxe swinging assault and there was only one thing to do. They needed to find a second guitarist.
In the summer of 2000 Kyle Betts joined the group, bringing with him the destructive edge they had needed. The band rocketed back onto the music scene this time inciting fury of emotion within each audience they played to. Shows began to grow and the band began to amass a following - groups of people trailing them from show to show being led by the music of a malevolent Pied Piper. The five then cut an eight song E.P. entitled ‘To Our Glorious Dead’ which although was well received still lacked one component that the band had strived to attain.
