The song writing partnership, of David, Damon and Paul, has produced an impressive mixture of songs ranging from the deeply personal to catchy, radio friendly, sing-a-long pop rock.

Their Musical influences are individually varied, giving them an eclectic yet familiar sound of their own. Elements of emotional rock such as The Smashing Pumpkins, dEUS, Radiohead and Coldplay mixed with classic rock acts such as T-Rex and Lynerd Skynerd can be heard, although never fully identified. This has given The Cubes the ability to appeal to all audiences

Last but not least were the cubes who are now so good that I've run out of ways to talk about this band. Basically is you haven't seen them then you should. If you have seen them and didn't like them then go see them again. If you've seen them and didn't like them and then went to see them again and still didn't like them then I can't help you. But everyone should see them at least once before they get too big and never return to Leeds again.
