The Baby Grands

THIS IS KINDIE ROCK FROM ATLANTA

WHAT DO YOU GET...
... when you cross a singer-songwriter, a pediatric physical therapist, and a record label owner? You may be thinking... a band that plays a histrionic batch of love songs about ligaments and tendons with a bad record deal? How about a 2009 NAPPA (National Parenting Publications Award) Honors-winning debut Kindie Rock album!

MAKING GOOD RECORDS...
... takes a lot of hard work, but for The Baby Grands, the process of making music is a relaxed, feel-good, laugh-your-butt-off process that is just plain fun! It's also kinda like being a famous super group without the fame, fortune, sold-out tours, eventual break-up, and inevitable captivating"VH1 behind the music" story.

AN UNLIKELY TRIO....
Donny Todd
This guy's personality is an extension of his musical style - laid back and relaxed. This Evan Dando-esque, odd-job working, 25 year old is a singer-songwriter in his prime. From his early days in California, to the present in Minnesota, music is as much a part of Donny's day as a square meal. Donny agrees, "I think I actually play songs more than I eat most days which is a great diet when you think about it."

Marc Castelo
Marc may be obscure to most-every adult, but he's a real-live rock star to the legions of toddlers he has worked with as a Pediatric Physical Therapist and coach over the past 12 years in Atlanta, GA. Marc's kids-eye view of the world and knack for coming up with big ideas for little people make him a creative cog in The Baby Grands' kiddie-alt-rock machine.

Ben Rowell
Ben is the guy who wears so many hats for The Baby Grands that he has round-the-clock hat head! Whether it's coming up with an electric guitar sound, searching for the answer to one of life's eternal questions (see "why is it W?"), or finding the ultimate mix (or the ultimate dog bark for that matter), Ben has it all covered. His days as guitarist in the national-touring band Big Sky and more recently as a record label owner-producer are what make him the "nuts and bolts" of the Baby Grands.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING...
