My name is Ted Hammock. I am a singer/songwriter and I play around 215 shows a year. I have 2 albums out now and am constantly doing shows to promote it. My music is acoustic driven songs about life, love, and finding ourselves in the world. However some of the songs have an edgy feel with excellent lead guitar work into which I delve into other topics as well. I also play full band shows in which I hire musicians to fill out the band. It's cool to be playing music for my livelihood and am hoping to get these songs to a larger audience through using this medium.

Ted Hammock and the Blowout Boys

Ted Hammock, a twenty-two year old from West Chester, Pennsylvania, released his first full length album, Making My Way. Written entirely by Hammock and co-produced by Pat Noon, Making My Way gives light to songs like Come Get Near It, See You Smile, and Baby's Got A Bullet. Hammock's lyrics reflect his life in many ways, from love (See You Smile) to life's many paths (Indirection). In the everyday gauntlet of human emotion, Hammock strips down the feelings that people experience everyday. His tunes are a fluent mesh of pop rock and acoustic music, with hints of influence from Dispatch and Sublime.

While growing up in the outskirts of Philadelphia, Hammock submersed himself with the chill, stripped-down acoustic music from G Love and the Dave Matthews Band. He taught himself how to play guitar and during his seven year relationship with his former band, Mellow Commotion, Hammock found the truth to define what he would make of his life.

With the release of the new album, Ted Hammock is now touring the country spreading the good vibes from his music. Matt Fisher, Shawn Ryberg, and Matt Eldridge lend their talent and complete the Ted Hammock Band. While performing at a show for separate bands, the four met and became good friends, eventually joining forces to become one. While on tour, Hammock reflects, "...we are all "making our way" through the world and towards something, somebody, someplace in our minds that we feel will give us satisfaction one way or another."
