Who says CraigsList.org is simply for selling that old 1987 Buick with the rusted out fender?

The free online classified ads web site may be good for unloading all your unwanted stuff, but it's also the birth place of Take This Personal a four-piece pop rock band hailing from Southwest Michigan. The site is the medium that connected existing acoustic duet Nick Spelde (lead guitar/vocals) and Dustin Brondyke (lead vocals/rhythm guitar) with Travis Hanko (drums) and Jayson Bussa (bass), who had performed together in a now-defunct project in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Armed with material from their previous projects and penning songs of their own, Take This Personal released their first studio EP entitled 'Rumor Has It...' in August of 2009 and will make their concert debut on Sept. 3 at the Intersection in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Bunkered in their practice space tucked in the small town of Coloma, the group is grooming their diverse arsenal of songs which consist of high-energy pop rock songs like 'It's Not Me, It's You' and 'Bang, Bang Baby' to the slower tunes in 'Taxi Cab Confessional' and 'Angel Wings'.
