My Career

Chicago based rapper/producer/songwriter Stress, has been perfecting his crafts since 1996. While excelling all 4 years in high school with all A's playing the trumpet, drums, and trombone, he started a rap duo with best friend (2 Blue) the other half of R&R. From there they acquired studio time and he was debuted on his 1st compilation on a local independent label Heavy Hitters Ent. Later attending higher education at the performing art school, Columbia College, he strived to achieve industry standards in producing and mastering. Later expanding his dreams, he tour with another independent label, Project Records as a performer and toured Arkansas to open his Chicago metropolitan buzz into a regional buzz. Making connection with this label introduced him to another independent label, Powell Records, from MTV's "My Sweet Sixteenth". He spent a short time as the third part of their rap group Monster Click. Wanting to branch of into a more concentrated style he became a solo artist and started his own independent label P.P.H. Ent. In doing so, he made frequent appearances in Chicago clubs like, The Cotton Club, Mr. G's, Time Out, and Gloria's to showcase, promote, and market his business. Lately altering his self proclaimed triple threat status, he's adapting his crafts and business sense from radio play and CD sales to new media outlets such as online downloads, ringtones, promotions, and marketing.
