Jim Stewart and Paul Anderson both attend Crossings Community Church, a Church of roughly 6,000 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The two met in the Fall of 2000, became friends, and started performing together at Crossings. In June of 2002, Paul Anderson, having written some 65 songs, asked Jim Stewart to collaborate with him, in creating the music for these songs. Over the next 5 months, the two would complete the writing and recording of the first 18 songs and produced the CD titled “Heavens Love”.

An important side note worth mentioning. Paul Anderson, prior to January, 2001, had never been associated with music in any way, singing, writing, recording, etc. As a matter of fact, it wasn’t until January of the year 2000, when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, that he even began attending Church. He began attending Crossings Community Church and it was there that God introduced him to music.

In contrast, Jim Stewart has always been around music. However, prior to Jesus Christ changing his life, Jim spent his time performing in Las Vegas backing up the likes of Frank Sinatra, performing every night, and living a very hard life. Rededicating his life to Jesus Christ prompted him one day to pack his bags and return home to Oklahoma.

Two very different paths and thru Jesus Christ, these two paths were allowed to cross.
