Originally from fife, now resident in Edinburgh, SOA are possibly one of the most intense, honest young bands you'll have heard for some time. They have operated with an archetypal 4-piece, guitar-driven set-up for some seven years, giving them a solid, perfectly realised sound which has pricked the ears of audiences and critics alike.
The fact the band have been friends since school, along with their decision last year to start living together makes SOA an exceptionally tight unit. Their closeness certainly shows; they are clearly comfortable playing together and their music has a special, intimate quality not often heard.
