Sonafield is a driving, "stone-faced" rock trio out of Seattle Washington that finds its musical and inspirational home among bands and musicians such as Our Lady Peace, the Foo Fighters, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Remy Zero, Pete Yorn, and Chris Cornell. Sonafield is Jason Lackie (guitar/vocals), Matthew Probert (drums) and Paul Springer (bass).

Since the beginning of the group in 2001, Sonafield has worked consistently to write, perform and create opportunities to present their work. In the past two years, members of the band have shared the stage with artists as diverse as Glen Phillips, Luna Park, Yeek Yak Airforce, Common Heroes, Pris, Quiet After Nine, the Humidiflyers, The Drop and Valhere as well as many others.

The dynamics of Sonafield’s music allows them to meld well with many different artists, always adding new faces to their growing and loyal collection of fans.

The band had just finished recording the for the album, "Operations of the Unseen," when the band members went their separate ways to pursue their individual projects. Writer/song-singer Jason Lackie put the band back together with new members:
Matt Probert (drums), Paul Springer (bass) and Kristina Lackie (guitar).



The band is currently playing shows to support the release of the album, "Operations of the Unseen." The album is about to go to production.
