Something Phonic is a fun lovin', high-octane band from Oshkosh, WI. Their style is best described as Funk Rock, though it tends to push the boundaries into other musical influences, pulling down the walls between them at the same time. During the last three years, the boys have been consistently pounding out incredible live performances, leaving audiences across the universe entertained and hankering for more. And while the core fan base in Oshkosh threatens to overrun the city, the Phonic Crew remains very busy planting their musical seed all across Mother Earth.
Something Phonic has released two EP discs to date. They each journey through Rock, Funk, Jazz, Blues, and still come out with that definitive Something Phonic groove underlying every track. These recordings are only a small taste, however, of what this band has to offer. Aside from more than two hours of live original material, they also play some irresistible cover tunes, from Red Hot Chili Peppers to The Beatles and many in between.
