Sojourn has been around for 5 years. We are a Christian Rock using using rock and blues sensibilities. we play original music as well as stuff that's sung all over the world. We like to liven the songs up a bit and give it some attitude.

When Jesus Rocks

Bob Agnew resides in Poynette and wanted to form a Christian band, so he placed a ad in the local newspaper. Sam Verdecchia answered the ad, as a matter of fact, Sam was the only one to call Bob. They got together along with Bob's friend-Craig Kilvinger (who incidently lived over on the next street from Sam). They came, they jammed semi acoustically and liked what they heard and pretty much started playing out later that week. In a few weeks they graduated to electic guitars and drums. They have jammed with various people over the years, but have mostly remained a three piece with Bob playing bass and singing, Sam playing guitar and Craig on drums. Faith Gladem came aboard with and the singing got a whole lot sweeter.

We play at churches around Wisconsin, concerts we put on ourselves. We have played at Critical Mass-a Christian Music Festival in Portage in August for the last three years. We play other functions as well as well as sometimes play at Columbia County Correctional Facility.

We've been together for five years. We like to rip it up and give the music some punch and zip and cut loose with some blues and guitar solos. We also can make it pretty too. Bottom line-we want to sing about love and grace and hope that we've found in Jesus Christ.
