Bio

Sincere Life is an emcee from Chicago currently living in Madison, WI he has been mastering his craft as an emcee since before his adolescence. Since a young man all he ever wanted was to make an impact in the hip hop community and be celebrated amongst the great artists that came before him. He can remember writing out lyrics to 2pac's "So Many Tears" in his fifth grade classroom just so he could imitate his idol. Raised by a single mother after losing his father in a car accident in 1996, He likes to credit Hip-Hop as a savior for him at that point in his life. Sincere Life has been writing and emceeing ever since the eighth grade with his major influences being Tupac, Nas, Talib Kweli, and Mos Def. He's been involved in the hip hop scene since 2000 and has since formed ILL-NOIS Nation, a rap label which stands for Intelligent Lyrical Legends Neglecting Oppression and Inspiring Society. When he went to High School he started out just rapping to be rapping before he understood that it was a gift and he then learned to treat it with grace. By the time he graduated in 2003 he began to form into the type of emcee he always wanted to be and for years after focused on impacting Hip-Hop in a way that wasn't usually done. In an effort to stand out he began writing his first couple projects free from swearing and even using the word 'Nigga' to challenge himself and the minds of today's hip-hop listeners. He started performing shows shortly after his first mixtape 'Humble Beginning' was released in 2011. To date he has opened for Yelawolf, Talib Kweli, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Souls Of Mischief, and Psalm One along with a host of local shows and even a small self funded tour from Madison, WI to Boston, MA performing along the way. He has 5 projects available now Humble Beginning, Dreams In My Notebook, Nightmares, Don'tLetMeGetTheBeat, and the latest was an EP entitled Write Of Passage. He brings a different feeling through his music and when you hear him you can tell he does it for the music first that is just one of the things that separates him from a lot of other artists. Sincere Life hopes with some guidance, artist development, and the right promotion will get him noticed as he continues on his journey to be named with the greatest.
