"ShockValue, a band that has pushed the limits of the media, has just produced their debut album, "Small Town Politics" with producer Rob Dyck. The band's sound is unique and quite melodic, and has earned good reviews wherever their music ends up. Slight resemblence to Nickelback, Flybanger, System of a Down, and Mudvayne. The boys from SV know how to put on a good show, with face paint and glowing onstage, they gain new fans with each performance. The band markets and distributes their disc by themselves selling well over 100 copies of an Independent based record. Working on their upcoming disc, and promoting the first are the band's current status."
