Ron Gouge, Songwriter

Ron Gouge was born in Elizabethton in the beautiful Appalachain Mountains of East Tennessee. He is the seventh of nine children of James and Gladys Gouge. After high school he joined the US Navy where he was an Electrician's Mate. While aboard ship he learned to play the guitar. When he got out of the Navy he started his first band, The Ravins who played a lot locally.

Ron has been writing songs since the eighties, first with the Atlanta Songwriters Assn., and now with the Nashville Songwriters Assn. He currently is working with a core group of very talented, musicians, songwriters, vocalists, arrangers and producers, promoting his songs and songs of others. Ron has a great love for all genres of music, but his roots are deep in classic Country music. He has a strong faith and love for God and our country. God bless America! His goal is to become successful with his own music, but to also help others to achieve their dreams.
