R.O.M.E.'s Biography
R.O.M.E. is a 21 year old native of Birmingham, Alabama. In 2003 he became the C.E.O. of the independent label Dynasty Enterprise Music Group, LLC and started a production company called SSC Productions, LLC. Throughout the next 3 years R.O.M.E. would go on to release 4 successful mixtapes, otherwise known as the Dynasty Enterprise Underground Mixtape Series serving over 70,000 through the streets and Internet.
After the release of Vol. 4, he began producing for the debut album from the label titled "We Takin' Over". In the summer of 2006, he appeared on the Underground Talent Mart (UTM) TV Show in Atlanta to debut the buzz single “We Don’t Dance” to 19 markets including, New York, St. Louis, Birmingham, and Hawaii. The performance led to many opportunities. Some of these opportunities were performing for the likes of Grand Hustle, Juvenile, Da Brat, and producer Shondrae to name a few.
In the early Winter of 2006, the debut album “We Takin’ Over” was completed. With collaborations from the newest artist from DEMG, Bigg D of Too Deep, and stellar production from SSC Productions, over 42 songs were recorded for a 17 slot album. The remaining material, exclusive freestyles, and remixes was released January 27th with the #1 DJ in the South, DJ Smallz “Mr. Southern Smoke”. The DJ Smallz & R.O.M.E. "Before Tha Takeover" mixtape contains the singles "What It Is" & "I'm Tha Man" off the album "We Takin' Over", which will be in stores March 20, 2007. With the combination of hard work, a solid fan base, and quality music, the highly anticipated debut album will showcase the birth of some of rap’s newest superstars.
With cosigns from several key industry players, R.O.M.E. was hand picked by DJ Smallz and others to lead the movement for the new generation of southern artists to stabilize Hip Hop’s growing southern genre. With future appearances on upcoming Southern Smoke & Fear Factor Music mixtapes, an undeniable flow, and razor sharp lyrics, R.O.M.E. is poised as the next best thing coming from the South.
