Reina Collins

Roots rock songstress Reina Collins has sung for her supper more than twenty years. Her voice has been described as warm as the color of deeply polished wood and smooth and fiery at the same time - like top shelf tequila. She is an engaging and dynamic performer who captivates her audiences and wins over new fans with every show.

Reina's versatility has allowed her to comfortably perform many styles including rock, jazz, folk and country. She has entertained at festivals (Bite of Oregon, Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival, Northern Rockies Folk Festival, Clearwater Jazz Holiday), ski resorts, weddings, corporate events, and community fundraisers. Her recordings have received international airplay and she has travelled the US finding pleasure and success as a touring musician.

Reina has recorded three albums; her most recent is 'Austin to Boston' inspired by a 10,000 mile solo road trip. She can be heard in and around Portland with her roots-classic rock band, Americana acoustic trio or her jazz trio.

Currently, Reina is developing her next cd project with Nashville songwriter-producer Phil Madeira. Phil has written songs for Alison Krauss, Toby Keith, Ricky Skaggs, Bruce Hornsby, Garth Brooks. Reina and Phil will be co-writing all the music for this new album scheduled to being production summer '09.

A Florida native who discovered an attraction for the west, Reina has lived in Southern California, Teton Valley, Idaho and now calls Portland, Oregon home.
