Randy Parsons - songwriter, bass & six string guitar, vocals.

Press Info

“Like his fellow East Enders who prefer to surround themselves with like-minded, deep-pocketed pals, Randy Parsons has found a group of associates that likes to make beautiful music together. From multi-instrumentalist Mike Mandel to the ace assortment of vocalists, mastermind songwriter-acoustic guitarist Parsons packs seven songs with a lite, relaxing resonance.

It’s just fine for a post-holiday low-key listen.

Parsons’ compositions, dating from 1997 to last year, takes on lives of their own with the mix of singers – Veronica Nunn, Brett Cartwright, Ron Scaia, George Wurzbach, John Margolis and Lorraine Ferro. Margolis’ take on ‘Brand New Day,’ for example, brings to mind Randy Newman, while Nunn’s slinky timbre adds a let’s-get-it-on vibe to ‘Shadow Dance.’ Ferro is just plain haunting on ‘Refugee.’
