Quincy was born and raised in Fredericksburg, Texas and today lives in Austin, Texas, about an hour away from his family home. His life revolves around his family, his friends and his music. From the time Quincy was a little boy—he played guitar and sang songs. In his high school years, Quincy started to develop a unique and rich voice, songwriting abilities and solid acoustic guitar playing skills. He practiced for hours and hours in the family music room and played in coffee houses and other small venues while honing his craft and developing his style. He also started to develop a “cult” following of friends and locals that enjoyed his music.

Fredericksburg Texas is “A Hole In The Wall” town in Central Texas. Quincy released his debut CD—“Hole In The Wall” in March, 2004. Each of the 13 original songs has a unique sound and story, and the songs all fit together into a musical experience that is enjoyable and entertaining. The songs are straight from the heart, and reveal inner stories about people, relationships, and growing up in Texas. From an artistic standpoint, Hole In The Wall has been very successful in showcasing Quincy’s rich and soulful voice. The arrangements on the cd combine Quincy’s vocals with and superb playing by some of Austin’s finest session musicians. Feedback from several industry professionals has been very positive. The music is original yet very accessible, and fits the popular categories of “Texas-Music”, “Americana”, “Adult Contemporary”. Fans have said that they put it the cd and let it play all the way through, time after time.

Quincy plays acoustic shows and with his band all over Texas. He’s played venues in all the major Texas cities and is especially popular college towns such as College Station, San Marcos and Austin. Quincy is currently working on material for his second project and is very excited about the future of his music. He loves to play write and play music and has a great time playing for his fans—his “old” buddies and the new fans he makes every time he plays.
