Singing since she was 12, Wanda Walker Jansen started making minor demo recordings in a Detroit area studio.

In the late 1980os, Ms. Walker Jansen continued her singing with a Michigan-based (USA) pop music band called Transfixion. From 1990 to 1992, her work continued as a professional backup recording vocalist for Detroit area Hip Hop Groups and House artists. She has worked with highly skilled sound engineers and producers, having themselves, worked for such groups as the Parliament Funkadelic, 2Unlimited and Ready for the World. More recently, she has worked as a co-writer on Kate Ryan’s second album, “Stronger” and is currently writing with composer Sidney Van Lauwe of Sliek de Zeesterre.
