Full time molecular biologist that has started recording part time in 1991 with my 4 track portastudio to now with Sonar 3 Producer. My influences: Gary Numan, Rush (circa Moving Pictures), King Crimson (circa Discipline) Radiohead, AIR and Stereolab. I play electric guitar and bass, Chapman Stick, Ashbory bass, acoustic guitar as well as several software based synths.

Bio

Started to play guitar in 1983 at age 13.
Played in the Montreal Band "Molotov Cocktail" 1986-88.
Played in the Montreal Band "Eric va aux toilettes" 1988.
Stop playing in bands when I started my PhD degree in Biochemistry (McGill University), but got a portastudio and a bunch of instruments (easier to schedule rehearsing time when you are a one man band).
Moved to NYC, in an biological research laboratory, but always wrote and recorded my music in my free time
Invented a microscopy technique called Proximity Imaging (PRIM) in 1998.
I plan to keep writing and producing music for a long time. I derive an immense satisfaction from it, and it keeps me sane!
