Bio
The Bible Fellowship Church Worship Team has been in existence in one form or another since about 1989. Pastor Eugene Bengtson felt led of the Lord to worship, not just sing songs. Carol Stewart was the original musical arranger for the group, and sang with Associate Pastor/Worship Leader Reinhold Buxbaum, Ken and Jan Merop, Paul and Debbie Large and Donna Goodwin. Accompaniment was provided by Rodney Hollinger on electronic keyboard/arranger and Elaine Ables on piano. In 1998, Harry Havery came onboard playing bass. Later that year, he moved to guitar and was replaced on bass by TJ Kinyon. TJ's wife, Julie took over for Elaine on piano.
There have been various changes in sthe singing lineup over the years. In 1998 Lori Leland and Nancy Zurcher came on as others dropped off. In 1999 Harry Havery took over the arranging of the music when Carol Stewart moved away. In November 1999, he was hired as Bible Fellowship Church's first music director. The worship team lineup as recorded in the album are as follows: Singers: Ken and Jan Merop, Lori Leland and Nancy Zurcher; TJ Kinyon on bass, trumpet and baritone; Julie Kinyon on synth, Naisha Jiminez on flute; Rodney Hollinger on keyboard, sax and trumpet; Harry Havery is the worship leader and guitarist, and his son Rodney Havery is the drummer. Since the album was recorded, the team has added Alberto Garcia on guitar and Fread Leavitz on percussion.
